FAQ
THE ART:
Pieces are made on gifted or thrifted fabric which is not free of some imperfections. Everything is imagined and carefully hand-made by myself.
PRICING:
Pricing is tricky because I believe my skill level earns me the right to start at $18/hr CAD for most pieces and up to $25/hr CAD for more intricate work. I also think art in general should be more accessible and not exclusionary - so I'm still trying to find a sweet spot.
On each product overview, I always include a breakdown of materials and time spent on each piece for transparency.
DELIVERY:
I offer free local delivery within 20km of the Ottawa downtown core. I pack and mail all of your orders myself, and will get them to you just as soon as possible while following health and safety precautions.
Orders outside of this zone ship from Ottawa, Canada. Times are not guaranteed by any carriers. The effects of the pandemic means shipping volumes are straining postal systems worldwide. Local conditions like lockdowns affect deliveries as well. I do not know how long your packages will take to arrive to their destinations.
CURRENCY CONVERSION:
All transactions occur in Canadian dollars. When the final checkout is done in Canadian funds, your credit card or payment method handles the conversion to your currency. The receipts you get from Fibre Aesthetics are shown in Canadian dollars, but the equivalent conversion is shown on the statement from your payment method (credit card or Paypal).
GIFTS:
When purchasing a hoop as a gift, please put the recipient's address in the shipping fields and your address and email in the billing.
If you are ordering for multiple people, each shipping address requires a separate transaction.
Sorry, no personal gift messages can be included in your order.
GENERAL ORDERING:
Please be mindful when adding items to your cart. Read all product descriptions and take your time. I include fun links and bad jokes where I can to make this enjoyable!
You will receive a receipt immediately following a successful transaction. Save your receipts for future reference.
Pay attention when placing your order—do not rush through the checkout process. Proof all names, addresses and input your email carefully. Inputting addresses is easier on a computer or laptop than a mobile device.
